The Barbie and Ken Killers ~ Conclusion

 

This will be the conclusion of this three part section. I wanted to post the three victims here at the top because they deserve to be remembered forever... These young, beautiful, innocent girls deserve to always be thought of... our love and thoughts are with their families and loved ones.

I am about to close this out, with what is happening present day with the perps. I even loathe saying their names, but this is what I do, so I must!!!

Various other people were held accountable for the way they handled this case, including Bernardo's lawyer and the Toronto Police who failed to follow through on the tips they received...

Karla served her full 12 years and was released with conditions of not being in contact with anyone under the age of 16; but for some odd reason the courts withdrew those conditions mere months later and Karla gives birth to her first child. This part BLOWS my mind....

She was given permission from the Canadian government to travel and move to the Caribbean, the Island of Guadaloupe; even allowed to change her name to Leanne Bordelais, which was her husband, Thierry's last name. He was the brother of her prison attorney... They lived there with their three children until people discovered the truth about her; being exposed by a Canadian journalist (GREAT JOB!!!)

She then returned to Quebec with her family. Life hasn't been easy for her... but what did she honestly expect??? She was discovered by the public, that she was escorting school outings and that came to a quick halt. Disturbing, to say the least.

As for this scumbag, he is still in prison, and hopefully will be for the remainder of his natural life. He became eligible for day parole in 2015, which was quickly denied.

He stood in front of the parole board in 2018 again, but there was really no deliberation. He was deemed a dangerous offender, and it still remains that he will likely never be paroled... BUT, if you've watched this whole case, our government has been known to do some crazy stuff...

Paul Bernardo is no longer in maximum security, which I feel was even too good for him. He is now living in a medium security facility in Montreal; the very same prison that houses Luka Magnotta (both men have connections to Karla Homolka).

I think one of the most disturbing things right now, is Karla has changed her name again to Karla Leanne Teale... I know I didn't mention the name in my brief recap of the case, but "Teale" was the last name, Karla and Paul were using to escape the law and when they planned on going on the run... Tell me this is a woman who is rehabilitated?!!

Tell me the judicial system is not a mess??? Not just in Canada, but as we view cases in the United States and possibly world-wide... You are all going to see, how the judicial system has failed over and over again.
